- if cake is to be left for 1-2 weeks before cutting, add 1 teaspoon glycerine to mix
- BBE date normally at least 3-4 months - often much longer
- ingredients: cane sugar, free range egg albumen, citric acid, anti-caking agent calcium phosphate, colour E153 (vegetable carbon)
