- Wilton cases are always quite thin - see QUALITY INFO below - so to stop grease from your cake mix showing through we recommend using 2 cases, adding the second after baking.

- QUALITY INFO - the performance of all baking cases relies as much on cake mix recipe, ingredients, oven temperature, ambient temperature and humidity as much as the cases themselves. Quality, measured purely in terms of thickness of paper, varies from Wilton (thinnest) to House of Marie (thickest). In most cases the design shown is only available from one manufacturer, so "quality" is outwith our control - eg Hello Kitty cases are only made by Wilton, so are thinner than some other designs

Brought these for a wedding I was providing 100 cupcakes for. I showed the lady this product on this website because the carboard look was themed into her wedding. She wanted them so I ordered them. The worse cupcake cases I have ever used...and I am a wedding and celebration cake business owner. Such a shame as the product, in theroy, should be great if they worked like all other amazing cupcake cases I have brought from the wonderful 'Cake Stuff' website. As the other lady mentioned previously, the cases became extreamly greasy and I was only putting a vanilla cupcake sponge mix into them. So bad it left a grease mark on every surface I placed them down on. In the end I had to dip each one in cornflower to try and absorb the grease. They were also extreamly thin and were terrible at holding there shape. After removing the cupcakes from the oven, the cases were all puckered and looked unsightly. Luckily the buttercream decoration that I adorned each cake with covered this. Will NOT be using these cupcake cases again and will def stick to 'House of Marie'...bit more pricey but extreamly well made. You have to be so careful when selecting your cupcake cases. Being that most people make them so last minute to kep them as fresh as possible, its hard to gauge how well a case is going to work and then often, as in my case, its to late to change :( Very dissapointing

<p>Ordered these as I liked the colour and the natural look to them - very disappointed as very thin and very shallow - mixture came over the sides and once baked the case was very greasy with it being so thin. Not sure I will be buying any more Wilton Cup Cases! <em><strong>CAKE STUFF REPLY</strong>: sorry you didn't like these Jane - you'll see that we have explained QUALITY INFO on each listing of cupcake cases, to try and explain the differences you can expect in quality / thickness between the different brands</em></p>
