GUM TRAGACANTH 500g
- purest grade Gum Tragacanth (aka Gum Trag) is a fine edible powder form of natural gum
- produced from the dry sap of several plants of the genus Astragalus and used for centuries to thicken ointments etc
- pure Gum Tragacanth is a rare and expensive commodity
- this is the highest / purest grade available - perfect for creating fine sugar flowers
- approx 500 g nett
- plastic pot with safety lid
- several different size pots also available
- ingredients: Gum Tragacanth E413
- BBE normally at least 6-12 months
- add to sugarpaste to create a tough modelling paste which can be rolled very thin and sets hard, ideal for sugar flowers etc - no set recipe but start with 1 teaspoon Gum Trag + 1 teaspoon icing sugar + 250g sugarpaste
- suitable for vegetarians & vegans
- does not contain nuts but produced in an environment where marzipan is also handled so we cannot guarantee free of any nut traces
