5kg LUXURY Rich Fruit Cake Mix - from Baking Brothers
- a quick and easy way to create this Christmas classic!
- just add water to this mix to make a delicious, moist cake
- delicious rich fruit flavour
- ingredients: WHEAT flour, sugar, sultanas, currants, non-hydrogenated vegetable oil, emulsifiers (E471, E475), cherries, WHEY powder, caramel (E150), whole dried EGG, raising agents (E500, E541), spices, flavourings.
- allergy info: see ingredients in BOLD. May contain traces of NUTS.
- suitable for vegetarians.
- measurements: 1kg mix makes approx 7” round or 6” square cake
- approx 5kg nett
- also available in 1kg pack
- Instructions:
- Preheat over to 160°C/Fan oven 140°C/Gas 3
- line a cake tin with baking parchment, bottom and sides
- put the cake mix into a large mixing bowl with 250ml of water and beat on slow speed for 1 minute or by hand with a wooden spoon. Scrape down the sides the mix for another minute.
- spoon mixture into lined cake tin, cover the top with tin foil and bake in the centre of the oven for approx 2 hours.
- leave in the tin to cool then wrap in baking parchment and foil to store.
- store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
