• TOP TIP - the sugarpaste MUST be soft - cake artist and author Lindy Smith recommends adding a little cooled boiled water to create a soft paste - if the gun 'clicks' then the sugarpaste is still too hard - the girls here at Cake Stuff also recommend using Trex (or similar) to help lubricate the inside of the barrel, as this also makes the action much easier
• knead a small amount of sugarpaste or modelling paste paste until soft, then place in the barrel of the extruding gun, replace head, choose the design disc you want - screw nut on and push down firmly - paste will be forced out
• see the new replacement 16 disc set - having spare discs saves you having to clean each one when changing colours of sugarpaste
• PLEASE NOTE you require this special RED nut for the new plastic rope discs, ribbon discs, fine rope / cord discs and cornice discs sets to fit your extruder gun - the original black nut supplied with the extruder gun set only accepts the aluminium discs
