500g super fine Fondant Icing sugar from Silver Spoon
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ . . . because almost every TV and YouTube cake show now uses the Americanism "fondant" when they really mean sugarpaste, there's a bit of confusion about fondant really is. Fondant icing is the smooth, sticky, glossy icing you find on French fancies etc. Please make sure you are ordering the correct product as this fondant icing sugar is not sugarpaste

- fondant icing sugar is ideal for topping cupcakes, sponge cakes and making edible cake decorations
- aka poured or pouring fondant
- has added glucose syrup to give you that professional glossy finish
- essential for French fancies, Bakewell tarts and biscuits
- easy to use: sieve 250g (half a pack) of the fondant icing sugar into a bowl and gradually stir in 45ml of cold water until the icing becomes a smooth paste. Add more water a drop at a time if necessary, or more fondant icing sugar to adjust the consistency
- Silver Spoon hold the royal warrant - so you know this is good stuff!
- combines easily and dissolves almost instantly
- 500g pack
- one pack makes enough to cover 2 x 7 inch diameter cakes or approx 24 cupcakes
- 100% grown in Britain - made from sugar beets grown in East Anglia
- colour with Sugarflair paste colourings or Blossom Tint powder colours
- SAFETY FIRST - powdered sugar is flammable - use and store away from naked flames as it's the superfine powdered dust that can cause the hazard
- BBE date at least 3-4 months - normally much longer
- ingredients: icing sugar, dried egg white, anti-caking agent: tricalcium phosphate (E341 (iii))
- allergy advice: contains egg - stored in an environment where nuts and nut products are also stored
- gluten free - suitable for vegetarians
