• mesh stencils allow for much more detail than normal acrylic stencils plus the actual designs don't need to be 'joined up' as part of one stencil - difficult to explain, but you'll understand what we mean when you see the stencils

• design area approx 22cm / 20mm / just over 8½" x 16.5cm / 165mm / 6½"
• stencil approx 24.5cm / 245mm / 9¾" x 21cm / 210mm / 8¼"
• use for icing, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate, fudge and sugarcraft models
• for best results use use with royal icing or buttercream for a slightly raised relief effect
• also work perfectly on a dry, firm surface such as sugarpaste or modelling paste
• reusable - simply wipe clean
• TIPS: ensure cake is sitting flat / straight / even and that stencil is in full contact with the cake without any spaces - use royal icing / buttercream to fill open spaces, scraping it down to leave the same thickness as the stencil
• use a flexible scraper to spread the icing or buttercream
• if you don't fancy the royal icing method you can also use by simply applying colouring direct to the stencil - ideal for dust & powder colours, metallic colourings & edible paints, royal icing, edible lustre colourings and airbrushing
• for smaller areas apply using a good quality sugarcraft dusting brush
• for larger areas designs are probably best applied by airbrush
• if using gold leaf or silver leaf, apply using the special fan dusting brush
• for even more detail, try icing colouring pens
• exceptionally fine detail - mesh stencils are quite durable and resistant to tears and stains, but we recommend handling with care to ensure it remains in top condition
• wipe clean - don't put in the dishwasher as the heat will warp the plastic
• highest quality flexible non-acetate material that's 100% food safe
