Product Details
8 piece concentrated paste icing colouring set from PME
- a handy little box set of 8 essential colours
- can be mixed to create an infinite range of shades
- a great starter set and provides an instant palette of popular colours . . .
- ivory, yellow, red, pink, blue, purple, green and black
- each approx 25g nett
- feedback from customers is it's a decent starter set but not quite as good as the Wilton 8 pc gel set or the Sugarflair 8 pc Ultimate Collection box set
- sold in a set of 8 only - individual pots in this box set are not labelled
- PLEASE NOTE this is the new version of the set - original style box shown in pic 3 where colours had different names (sunny yellow, hot pink etc)- the names have been simplified but the shades remain the same
- perfect for sugarpaste, royal icing, marzipan, buttercream, flower / modelling / gum pastes, cake mixes, pastry, frostings & fillings, isomalt, piping gel, cake lace mixes, desserts, white chocolate, cocktails etc
- add a tiny drop at a time (end of cocktail stick) to build up shade - aim to use no more than 3g colour per 1kg of icing or cake
- mix with other paste colours for infinite range of shades
- mix with Rejuvenator Fluid for an edible liquid colour to paint on to icing
- mix in a mixing tray and apply with a sugarcraft dusting brush or food-approved paint brush
- can also be used for molten white chocolate or Wilton Candy Melts
- BBE normally at least 6 months, often much (much!) longer
- ingredients: humectant: glycerol E422, bulking agents: propylene glycol E1520 & silicon dioxide E551, colours: E104, E122, E133, E102, E124, E155 (not all listed colours are present in each pot)
- suitable for vegetarians
- certified Kosher
- allergy advice: may contain traces of wheat, eggs, milk, soy, nuts and nut oils
- customers wishing to avoid alcohol can use water to thin but this will take longer to dry and won't give as good a finish
- known as pastes in the UK and gels in the USA - same products
- shade accuracy - please remember colours shown are representative only and will look different on different PC monitors and tablet / phone screens
- although not necessarily present in this particular product, the colours used across the entire icing colouring range may include the colours E102, E104, E110, E122 & E129 - which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in some children
