• with the help of some of our busier trade customers, we've been trialling some new products
• this Vanilla flavoured Rainbow Mix from MacPhie came out with high marks - so here it is . . .
• a good alternative to the best-selling Light & Fluffy Vanilla Frosting
• a fantastic 'stand by' product for any baker and especially anyone who makes cupcakes - always have a pail at hand for last-minute orders or for when you're really busy
• no ready-made icing is ever going to be as good as proper, home-made buttercream but Rainbow Frosting is pretty darn good
• ready to use straight from the pail (see pic 2)
• lightly aerated to give a really light texture and has a lovely rich flavour
• can be coloured as required using colour using paste / gel icing colouring, powder / dust colourings or, for best results, with special oil-based icing colourings
• we reckon you'd get between 150 - 200 fairly generous cupcakes' worth from a single pail
• occasionally the sugar can begin to crystalise so a few customers referred to a slightly 'gritty' texture - if you're looking for absolute top quality, the slightly more expensive Dawn 6kg Vanilla Frosting is really good, as is the old favourite: Light & Fluffy Vanilla Frosting
• perfectly complements our range of Cake Mixes
• can also be used for general cake decorating, piping, tray bakes, cookie fillings, for sponge sandwich filling, desserts and also as a filling for doughnuts etc
• if you find it a little light add a teaspoon (or more as desired) of Meri-White per kilo for a firmer texture, more like traditional buttercream
• plastic pail (normally red) with handle and re-sealable lid - approx 21cm / 210mm / 8" high x approx 22cm / 220mm / 8½" diameter
• for best results, store at a temperature between 5°C and 20°C - avoid storing in temperatures over 25°C
• do not heat above 45°C as this will reduce the gloss and do not heat in the microwave
• BBE normally at least 2-3 months - nature of product means shorter BBE than other brands so please expect 2 months and then it's a bonus if you get 3+ months
• ingredients:  sugar, vegetable oil (rapeseed and palm), water, humectant: glycerol, skimmed milk powder, flavouring, emulsifier: polysorbate 60 E435, preservative: potassium sorbate E202, acidity regulator: di-sodium phosphate E339
• allergy advice: contains milk and may contain traces of nuts, wheat (gluten), egg and soya
  
• free from artificial colours and flavours
  
• additional storage and nutritional information printed on pail label
• 'trade' products - please be sure you are ordering the correct product as this cannot be returned
• although not necessarily present in this particular product, the colours used across the entire icing colouring range may include the colours E102, E104, E110, E122 & E129 - which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in some children
