• good quality food grade vegetable glycerine glycerol
• we obviously can't compete with the enormous buying power of the big supermarkets when it comes to brands like Dr Oetker, but we're happy to offer this to our customers at the best price we can so that they can enjoy the convenience of simply adding it to their order
• add to royal icing to avoid it from going too hard - just 1 teaspoon of glycerine added to 500g royal icing (at stiff peak stage) will prevent a very hard set
• a great emulsifier that keeps sponge cakes moist for longer - add 1 teaspoon glycerine per 100g flour
• add a small amount to bread recipes for a soft crumb texture - great for baps and buns
• add to rich fruit cakes to ensure a rich, moist texture - some professionals even use to avoid adding alcohol
• helps prevent sugar crystallization in sweet and candy making 
• glycerol E422 is a defined as a carbohydrate alcohol but this is purely a chemical definition - it does not contain alcohol
• an added benefit is that glycerine has lots of health and beauty benefits - it's an excellent natural skin moisturiser
