• the Agbay leveller works so well because the cutting blade is incredibly sharp so keeping the blade clean is important for optimal performance
• over time the original cleaning tool may get lost or damaged, so we're happy to offer it as a replacement part
• the blade cleaning tool is designed to remove the build up of cake, especially from moist or stick cakes such as rich fruit cakes
• gently press the cleaning tool over the blade from the blunt / dull side (see pics 1 and 3) and carefully slide from side to side to remove any build up
• please remember the blade cleaning tool should be used in addition to your normal cleaning routine at the end of each use
• made in food grade acrylic with a special slot to fit over the blade
• PLEASE NOTE the blade cleaning tool was originally aluminium (see pic 2) so depending when you bought your Agbay leveller, the cleaning tool supplied may be the original aluminium version or the newer acrylic version - the replacement cleaning tools are all the new acrylic version
• for use with both 12 inch levellers (see pic 4) and 20 inch levellers
• AVOID INJURY - the blade is under almost 125 lbs of tension so it is incredibly sharp - do not clean from the sharp edge of the blade
