• RegalMarz is a very famous brand in the world of marzipan although many of you may be too young (!) to know the name
• originally owned by Renshaw as their flagship continental-style marzipan, RegalMarz® was used on countless wedding and celebration cakes for decades
• Regal Marz is a firm set marzipan made from a unique blend of sweet Californian and bitter Mediterranean almonds for a mild flavour that won't overpower the cake
• unlike cheaper marzipans, RegalMarz does not use almond extract or essence to boost the flavour - everything you taste is 100% natural and from the special blend of almonds we use . . .
• Californian almonds grow in orchards and have very little flavour - known in the industry as 'sweet almonds'. To add flavour, we use 'bitter almonds' that grow wild on the Mediterranean shoreline of Morocco. Because these almonds grow wild the flavour intensity varies a lot and we can only use a small amount per batch (as wild almonds can actually be poisonous in large amounts), so the overall flavour of our marzipan is quite mild - which Cake Stuff customers love!

• ingredients: sugar, blend of Californian sweet (farmed) and Mediterranean bitter (wild) almonds [min 25%], glucose syrup, invert sugar syrup, humectant: sorbitol E420, preservative: potassium sorbate E202
• allergy advice: contains nuts - marzipan is not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy
• suitable for vegetarians and vegans, although may contain natural traces of honey
• Kosher approved
• can be coloured using concentrated paste / gel or powder/dust colourings
• contains Sorbitol - a naturally occurring sugar alcohol which is generally permitted for Halal
• PLEASE NOTE - as a completely natural marzipan, small pieces of almond skin (not shell) are often present in RegalMarz - these are completely natural and 100% edible
• PLEASE ALSO NOTE - the red plastic pack is industry standard to identify a known allergen (in this case nuts) - it does not identify a brand of marzipan, ie most brands uses pink / red packaging but that doesn't mean they're the same
• NOT IN THE UK? - marzipan cannot be shipped outside the UK by Air - long story, but basically commercial explosives have a scent added to them to make them detectable and that scent is almond; so marzipan could set off detectors or attract sniffer dogs resulting in all sorts of drama.  We can therefore only deliver marzipan within the UK or to European countries using road courier.
