10 inch round poly-coated PE cake cards
- a PE card is a thin cake board that has been coated with polyethylene plastic on both sides, making it ideal for freezing
- surprisingly strong - much thicker and stronger than gateaux cards
- the plastic coating repels moisture, allowing the board to retain some strength even when wet or frozen
- cut-edge food approved board with plain white finish and a clear P E plastic coating
- a good choice for very light cakes, cream cakes, pavlova, desserts and any cake with a high moisture content
- often used as a greaseproof barrier board and useful between tiers, but virtually no strength
- because of the time picking and packing just 1 board, you'll see the price becomes much better the more you order, with price breaks for ordering 10, 25, 50 and 100 - great value for busy cake makers
- IMPORTANT - we only recommend ordering this if you normally use PE cards as we cannot accept the return of edible or food-contact products
- approx 25.5cm / 255mm / 10" diameter
- approx 1.5mm thickness although stacked thousands high, so compress to nearer 1mm-1.25mm
- solid 350um thick card made from white virgin fibre board
