BEFORE YOU BUY . . . we realise many customers prefer the traditional yellow colour of Golden Marzipan, but we also have a higher grade of uncoloured / white marzipan called RegalMarz for an even better price

• PLEASE NOTE - manufactured by Renshaw but packaged for BAKO and other distributors, so pack label and box brand may vary
• Californian almonds grow in orchards and have very little flavour - known in the industry as 'sweet'. To add flavour, we use 'bitter' almonds that grow wild on the Mediterranean shoreline of Morocco. Because these almonds grow wild the flavour intensity varies a lot and we can only use a small amount per batch (as wild almonds can be poisonous in large amounts), so the overall flavour of this golden marzipan is fairly mild - which Cake Stuff customers love!

• traditionally you needed a rich fruit cake to balance the strong flavour of almonds, but our marzipan is mild enough to be used with sponge and chocolate cakes
• perfect for wedding, Christmas and richer celebration cakes as well as an ideal covering for sponge cakes - giving you a firm, smooth surface to apply your sugarpaste

• PLEASE NOTE - small pieces of almond skin (not shell) are often present - these are completely natural and 100% edible

• contains Sorbitol - a naturally occurring sugar alcohol which is generally permitted for Halal
• NOT IN THE UK? - marzipan cannot be shipped outside the UK by Air - long story, but basically commercial explosives have a scent added to them to make them detectable and that scent is almond; so marzipan could set off detectors or attract sniffer dogs resulting in all sorts of drama.  We can therefore only deliver marzipan within the UK or to European countries using road courier.
