The thing to always remember with wires is the higher the gauge, the finer the wire - 16 being the thickest / heaviest and 32 the finest.? Each wire is approx 14" (36cm) long and the number of wires per pack varies with gauge - gauges 18-22 have approx 20 wires per pack, gauges 24 and above normally have approx 50 wires per pack

Paper and cotton covered stainless steel wires will not rust although we must point out that if you decide to stick the wires directly into a rich fruit cake (which, of course, you shouldn't!), there may be a reaction which causes the wire to corrode.? Play safe - never stick wires directly into the cake

Please note packs of fine gauge wire ordered on their own may be gentle folded for ease of posting.? When ordered with other items, wires are always packed flat
