In response to customers' requests, we're delighted to introduce a range of stencils (and a smaller clearance section of moulds) . . . we'll start small with popular cupcake and novelty cake designs, and add new designs as the demand grows - including really specialised wedding cake stencil designs.
Please note that a couple of the smaller, specialist stencil manufacturers cannot give us the price or quantities to make it viable to stock their ranges but we will keep adding new designs.
All design stencils are approved for use on food and are made in lightweight, flexible plastic. Sizes given are approximate and refer to the general design area, not the size of the plastic stencil itself. Unless otherwise stated, these are made by Jem (South Africa) and often retail packed for Culpitt.
Stencils can be used in several ways . . . simply use to "paint" on icing colouring, or to apply cake glitter (use edible glue to help the glitter to stick to a specific area), or use a thin layer of sugarpaste, buttercream or royal icing. Lots and lots of ideas - why not try bold colours, reverse print (eg white on black)?
