Part of the Sparkle Range, Hologram Colours are cut by laser to give each tiny particle a prismatic surface which catches the light for a breathtaking effect. Hologram Colours are a a range of standard colours for everyday use but with the special laser-cut bright sparkles, which give a rainbow (almost holographic) effect . . . check out "white" as a fantastic way to add a subtle sparkle to wedding and celebration cakes.
IMPORTANT UPDATE . . . latest information from Environmental Health Labs is that the Sparkle Range should really only be used on items which are being removed from the cake. If the glitter finds its way on to icing etc and is eaten then it will not cause any harm, but the important thing to note is that we do not recommend "intentional" use . . . eg sprinkled on cupcakes. They are safe but there is now a call for much more detailed information. As with many things . . . eating large amounts is not advisable, but ingesting small amounts is perfectly safe . . . we just have to be clear about whether or not we are seen to advise customers to sprinkle these on to cakes as if they were classed as "edible" . We've not changed our position, but we want to be clearer. We hope you'll understand.
We hope that it goes without saying that this range is 100% safe to use although the manufacturers have to keep themselves right by stating "for decoration only". We honestly cannot recommend these enough. Please experiment with colours and add a new shade or two to your collection each time you visit as the 15g gross (approx 5g nett) pots will last for ages.
