The truth is we were planning to stock Edable Art but several customers have told us Rainbow Dusts are better, have a more brilliant "sparkle", they're made here in Britain and they are 100% approved for use on edible items, meeting all EU regulations. What's more they are not water soluble, so won't dissolve if they come into contact with moist icing.
Rainbow Dusts are 100% edible glitters cut by laser to give each tiny particle a prismatic surface which catches the light for a breathtaking effect. We honestly cannot recommend these enough. Please experiment with colours and add a new shade or two to your collection each time you visit as the 17g pots will last for ages.
Don't be put off by the size of the range . . . we've split the range into the following categories to make browsing a little easier. Rainbow Dusts are split into two main categories . . . the Edible Silk Range and the Sparkle Range, then split into the sub-categories as follows.

Edible Silk Range:
Irridescent Colours - white based dust that gives a subtle sparkle in the said colour. Use for delicate, subtle highlights.
Metallic Colours - strong, powerful colours with bold, metallic sparkle for metallic highlights and the ulimate cake "bling".
Pearl Colours - soft, gentle pastel colours, blended to give lovely shades with subtle pearlescent finish.
Starlight Colours - using latest technology, these colours use an extra bright laser-cut base powder to give a stronger sparkle than any other range. Great colours with a bright, light-catching sparkle
The Sparkle Range:
Crystal Colours - a very intersting colour which is well worth experimenting with! The multi-coloured sparkles have a semi-translucent base colour so that what may appear, for example, to be a pastel green colour will reveal peach and purple sparkle highlights and the translucent property means the colour of the base material (eg white, ivory or colour sugarpaste) can dramatically affect the final appearance.
Glacier Colours - a range of extremely subtle colours with fantastic light-reflecting sparkle properties for an almost holographic effect.
Graphite Colours - a small collection of deeper, strong colours with bright sparkling highlights.
Hologram Colours - a range of standard colours for everyday use but with the special laser-cut bright sparkles, which give a rainbow (almost holographic) effect.
Jewel Colours - a range of vibrant colours which sparkle with the same colour throughout so, for example, a blue dust would sparkle with blue highlights. Great for detail on colour themed cakes.
Pastel Colours - as the name suggests, a range of subtle colours with delicate hues and a nice sparkle.
Stardust Colours - a range of simple, popular, strong colours which sparkle with a secondary colour throughout for really light-catching detail. For example, a red dust may sparkle with yellow / white / orange highlights.
Rainbow Dusts couldn't be simpler to use . . . sprinkle on to icing or apply more precisely using a little edible glue or confectioners' glaze.
