• good quality modelling gum paste from Squires Kitchen - known for years as Mexican Paste but they found many new customers were unfamiliar with that terminology, so now called Sugar Modelling Paste
• officially it's the same product as before but initial reports suggest it may be slightly softer to work with than the old MMP
• made using cane sugar grown by smallholder farmers in a number of countries in the developing world ensuring a fairer deal for farmers and workers, which includes better prices, decent working conditions, environmental sustainability, and fairer terms of trade
• an excellent modelling gumpaste for modelling, figures and basic sugar flowers
• for a finer paste better suited to sugar flowers we recommend Sugar Florist Paste SFP
• for the very finest sugar flowers and leaves we recommend Suzanne Esper professional flower paste
• bulk trade 1kg foil pack
• BBE date 3-4 months minimum - normally much longer
• colour with Sugarflair paste colourings, Blossom Tint powder colours, Rolkem dust colours, Faye Cahill edible lustre dusts or Rainbow Dust paste & dust colourings
• ingredients: sugar, glucose, water, vegetable oil (palm and rapeseed oils), maize starch, sweetener: sorbitol, preservative: acetic acid, emulsifiers: E471, E475 & E466, RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil
• sugar traded in compliance with Fairtrade standards - total sugar content 87%
• allergy advice: may contain traces of nuts - although not ingredients in this product, other allergens held on the same manufacturing site are milk, soya, tree nuts, sulphites and gluten, so traces are possible
• religious observance advice: contains sorbitol, an alcohol which occurs naturally in fruit
