This new section is for older, rarer, discontinued Wilton cake tins . . . some of which are now genuine collectors' items. A Darth Vader tin from the early 1980s sold on eBay for £125 just before Christmas!
It is really not our intention to make money from these tins - they have been acquired / collected over the years and we're happy to offer them to our customers as a service while also raising a little money for Yorkhill Children's Foundation. If you have similar rare Wilton tins you'd like to donate or sell then we'd love to hear from you . . . we can't pay much for them but 50% of the sale of tins we've bought and 100% of tins which have been donated is given to the Foundation.
Please remember these are NOT new cake tins, so we've tried to describe them and photograph them as accurately as possible. Stocks change weekly.
At least 50% of all money raised through the sale of these rare Wilton tins is donated to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill) in Glasgow.
Wilton cake pans are dishwasher safe, but please remember that as they are aluminium, some discolouration is completely natural and does not in any way affect the tin's performance. Wilton novelty shaped cake pans / tins are extremely versatile and easy to use. If you've never used them before then you're about to discover one of the great secrets of novelty cakes . . . Wilton cake tins (they call them pans in America) have detailed 3D moulding so that the cake comes out of the tin with all the important detail in place, making it really simple to decorate with sugarpaste or buttercream.
