Cake-stuff.com cake boxes are supplied flat as two-piece boxes (ie separate lids) as these are much stronger than the one-piece hinged boxes and are available to buy singly, in packs of 5 at a lower price and in full boxes of 50 at amazing TRADE prices, and also available with cake boards.
Are they more expensive than the one-piece hinged boxes? . . . yes!
Do we sell the cheaper one-piece hinged boxes? . . . no!
It's really simple . . . the cake box has one purpose - to protect the cake. Sure, we can source cheaper boxes but what's the point of saving 25p on a box designed to protect a tier of a wedding cake possibly worth over £500? It would be false economy on a massive scale. Our 2-piece boxes are much stronger, both in the thickness of the card (micron) and in their construction as the lid sits over the base, making it much less likely to collapse if something is placed on top of it. The prices are also very, very competitive.
Cake-stuff.com source all our cake boxes from the UK's top manufacturers... we do not import cheap cake boxes. Our cake boxes are manufactured to British Standards in fully licensed, hygienic UK factories and are cut from white poly-coated food-approved board.
Cake boxes are approx 6" (15cm) deep. Simply fold and clip together - very easy and very fast - no glueing required.
PLEASE NOTE . . . odd-sized boxes are much rarer than even sized boxes as far fewer are sold, so the price of odd-sized boxes are often the same as the next even-sized box. eg 15" box is same price as 16" box etc. when buying them singly. Price differences may appear again in larger packs.
