14" x 10" (approx 35.5cm x 23cm) OBLONG DOUBLE THICK or HARDBOARD CAKE BOARD
Approx 4mm-6mm double thick or hardboard cake board in silver, with proper wrapped edges and white paper underside. As the name suggests, these cake boards are double the thickness of single thick cake cards, for added strength.
Of the two main UK manufacturers, one produces hardboard and the other produces double thick - both types of cake board are of comparable thickness, strength and quality. Oblong cake boards may be supplied in either fern or maple finish (see photo).
Made in UK. Sprayed with an invisible, flavourless, antibacterial wax - we recommend you simply wipe before use. The safest cake boards available in the UK today.
PLEASE NOTE . . . cake boards are traditionally hand finished so please allow a certain amount of variation in accurate size and finish. Small folds, creases, scratches, dents and a natural "bend" in the board are features occasionally found in the hand-finished product and are not considered faults.
Please be sure you are purchasing the correct product as we cannot accept the return of cake boards (even unopened packs) for food safety reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.
