We don't normally have an annual "sale" as such, because we work hard to keep our prices really low all year round, but we do have a number of end-of-line items which we're happy to clear at silly prices. If you make cakes to sell you can't afford to miss some of these bargains . . . especially the clearance "lots" ! ! !
Please click here to see our CLEARANCE CORNER.

THE BRIDGE WE BUILT WITH CAKES (2011 charity project) . . .
OK, so maybe not literally built "with cakes", but we're delighted to have supported the work of Scottish charity The Raven Trust during 2011 as the built a new bridge for the people of the Chibalazi community in Malawi.
The picture shows the new bridge being officially opened (November 2011). This new bridge ensures families have access to hospitals, clinics, schools and markets . . . this will change (and save) the lives of many, many people. Thank you so much for your support . . . who knew making cakes would save lives?
Your cakes helped us sell products which, in turn, raised money for this project. Click here for more photos and news on the Cake Bridge.

EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK . . .
(our 2012 charity project)
Building on the success of last year, this year's charity project is a little closer to home in that we're supporting two of our own team as they train to reach Mount Everest Base Camp.
Cameron (16) and his Grandad Willie (age undisclosed!) are off to Nepal in October for 17 days' trekking through the foothills of the Himalaya to reach Everest Base Camp at a lung-busting 17,500 feet above sea level.
The money raised from their sponsorship goes to Who Cares? Scotland, a worthy organisation offering advice, advocacy, support and (crucially) a voice to children and young people in care. All profits from the expedition organisers go to Community Action Nepal, who now have over 50 projects operating in Nepal to help sherpas, their families and communities with new clinics, schools, clean water, improved sanitation and so on.
Please click here for more details on these two worthy causes and how the trek will help.
We will also continue to support Loaves & Fishes and the Salvation Army in their work with homeless people in the Glasgow area.

"How much will it cost to delivery my order?"
For orders weighing under 1kg, P&P starts from only £1.95. Over 1kg, "Best Rate Shipping" is only £6.95 and FREE on orders worth over £75 (UK mainland up to 20kg).
This £6.95 rate applies no matter how many boxes we send your order in, so we can pack fragile items separately from heavy items like sugarpaste, helping to ensure everything arrives in great condition. This is one of the main reasons we use APC Carriers. For non-mainland and non-UK orders, heavier orders and "Express Shipping" orders, the site will automatically calculate the shipping costs based on order weight and your destination.
You'll see this cost at checkout before you're asked to confirm your order.

Cake-stuff.com is a little bit different . . . designed for the cake decorator who already knows what they are looking for, we concentrate on offering the most popular supplies and equipment at the best possible prices. All our prices already include VAT where applicable, so there are no hidden extras. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout, based on order weight and destination.

We’re not trying to sell you a wedding cake or offer advice on how to decorate cakes, or show off our own cake decorating skills (heaven forbid – a bran loaf is about our stretch!) . . . cake-stuff.com is designed for the cake decorator who knows what they want and simply wants the best price possible for it. Now, we realise that you’ve probably heard that “best possible prices” bit before, but the difference is we really mean it!
Cake decorating is fun and we want this site to be fun too . . . that’s how our thousands of regular customers like it. They know that although we don’t take ourselves too seriously we take what we do very seriously . . . quality products, low prices, reliable deliveries, friendly customer service and a bit of a laugh whenever we can.
The cake-stuff.com philosophy is simple... we've checked the price of every single product listed on the site against those generally regarded as the UK’s top 10 sugarcraft websites including names we're sure you'll recognise: Almond Art, Cake Craft Company, Design-a-Cake, Surbiton Sugarcraft, Jane Asher, Windsor Cake Craft and more.
Having checked the price of every product, we’ve then made sure that our price was the best, typically at least 10% (and up to 25%) better than the top 10's average. There’s no compromise on quality or service... we’re talking about exactly the same products and brands, but at the best prices possible. And don’t be fooled by some sites offering an extra 10% discount to discounts or British Sugarcraft Guild members; we’ve already taken that into account and our prices are still better!
It sounds simple . . . and it is.
Ordering is easy and making payment is very safe, as we use the internet's number one card payment processers PayPal. You can pay using your own debit or credit card, or your PayPal account if you have one (handy for eBay users). Once you've confirmed your order we then pack everything carefully and ship to virtually anywhere in the world, using specialist carriers to deliver heavy orders to UK mainland addresses quickly and safely, and Royal Mail to delivery non-mainland and non-UK orders.
Order from your sofa and have it delivered to your front door - easy!!!
Please use the buttons down the left of the page to browse sections or if you know what you’re looking for, simply type the details into the SEARCH box above left. Please see the ABOUT US page to find out a lot more about who we are and what we do. We’d also ask you to have a look at our FOOD SAFETY POLICY to avoid any misunderstandings, as it’s there with your safety in mind.
If there’s product you use regularly and can’t find on the site, please contact us . . . we’ll continue to add more products and brands throughout the coming months to meet customer demand, so let us know what you’d like to see.
Similarly, if you are buying a product elsewhere at a better price we’d love to know about it so that we can check it out, adjust our prices and offer you an even better deal. We promise to do our level best to beat any other supplier's price for the same product.
We have a GALLERY of customers’ cakes so please email a photo of the cake you’re working on . . . don’t worry if it's not a work of art or doesn't quite match up to the genius of this cake, which was created (constructed!) for H.M. the Queen when as Princess Elizabeth, she married Lt. Philip Mountbatten R.N. in 1947 (we have a few photos of various royal wedding cakes on the site).
We’re always fascinated to see how our products have been used, whether for a competition standard wedding cake or a quick birthday cake for the kids and we’re sure lots of other customers would enjoy seeing these too, so please send in your pics . . . we'd be delighted to put some of them on the site and share in the fun of cake decorating.
Have fun ! ! !
Did you know ? . . . the word "cake" is derived from the old Norse word "kaka", brought to the British Isles by Vikings who enjoyed this sweet honey bread-dough cake (probably to soak up all that ale!).
